Motivational interviewing (MI) is a client-centered, evidence-based, goal-oriented method for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence with the individual. This active, skill-building workshop provides participants with knowledge of the spirit, micro skills, and strategies of the model, and provides opportunities to practice the approach. Participants will complete the workshop with a good understanding of MI, and are encouraged to take the Intermediate and Advanced MI workshops to develop proficiency in this method.
Family Support Partner

The Family Support Partner Training is a training designed to provide best practices and strategies of implementation of the Family Support Partner role on a High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) team. This training offers Family Support Partners the opportunity to craft their engagement skills and explore activities to utilize with families throughout HFW to ensure the family's voice and choice is heard and honored. This training is only for Family Support Partners who are on a High Fidelity Wraparound Team monitored by the NC HFW Training Program and who have been in their FSP role at least 3 months.

Foundations Training is experiential training is designed to introduce the Principles, Phases, Activities and Theory of Change required for implementation of the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Model. This training lays the foundation for HFW team members who will become credentialed in their roles. This training is designed for HFW Team members; therefore, space is limited for other individuals at this time as the NC High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program focuses on the development and expansion of HFW.
High Fidelity Wraparound Overview

The High Fidelity Wraparound Overview Training provides information about what guides the HFW model and the integral role of youth and families. It also introduces ways system partners can support the ongoing success of HFW teams to keep youth in their homes and their communities. This experiential training will review the definition of HFW, examine key elements of the model, and explore ways to support HFW in your community.

The High Fidelity Wraparound Coach Training is an online training designed to support High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Coaches in bridging their role, the HFW processes, and HFW protocols together. The training provides Coaches with practical applications of coaching that include practicing assessment and identification of team member needs, exploring preparation and planning to support team growth, establishing, and utilizing feedforward, making informed decisions based on data from Dashboards, and connecting the role of a coach with the HFW process and protocols.

The High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator Training is a one-day training designed to support the High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator with understanding their role in the HFW process. The training emphasizes the development of skills that support the use of the principles and the completion of action steps throughout the phases, all while emphasizing how to support purposeful transition for youth and families.
This training is only for High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitators who are working on a NC HFWTP monitored High Fidelity Wraparound Team and who have been in their role at least 3 months.
Youth Support Partner

The Youth Support Partner Training is a training designed to introduce the principles, phases, theory of change, and activities of the HFW model specific to the YSP role. The training provides HFW Youth Support Partners with an opportunity to learn skills that support sharing their own experience, providing voice for youth, cheer youth on to be a voice for themselves, and find a balance in meeting the HFW and clinical expectations on the job with transparency. This training is only for Youth Support Partners who are on a High Fidelity Wraparound Team.
