NC High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program
Promoting Teamwork with Youth & Family
Our Process
Our implementation specialists credential coaches and their team members in the HFW model.
Once coaches are credentialed, implementation specialists shift to a monitoring role.
Credentialing
Implementation specialists credential teams in the HFW model through a comprehensive process.
Foundational Training
All team members undergo Foundational Training to establish a solid understanding of the HFW model principles and practices.
Coach Credentialing
The implementation specialist directly credentials the coach, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to lead their HFW team effectively.
Team Member Credentialing
The coach credentials other HFW team members, with implementation specialist oversight based on the coach's credentialing progress. Each team member has unique skills to master for their specific roles.
Re-credentialing
Re-credentialing is conducted every two years after the initial credentialing to ensure ongoing competency and fidelity to the model.
Monitoring
Implementation specialists continue working with coaches after credentialing is complete, focusing on activities designed to assure fidelity to and growth of the HFW model.
Group Coaching Observation
Coaches provide regular group coaching to their HFW team members to support competency and prevent model drift. Implementation specialists periodically observe these sessions to assess and provide recommendations on coaching skills and team building.
Site Record Audits
Implementation specialists periodically audit coach records, including:
- Crisis Plan
- Strengths, Needs Cultural Discovery (SNCD)
- Wrap Plan
- Child and family team meeting notes
Data Assessment
Team facilitators collect data from multiple sources:
- Wraparound Fidelity Index (WFI-EZ) forms
- Chart forms
With implementation specialist assistance, coaches use this data with other site records and observations to improve outcomes and team member skills.
